Growing up, we've always loved plain clothing, this has come from an appreciation for the inherent value in simplicity. This love for minimalism coupled with our passion for premium streetwear forged the essence of Plain Apparel; which was actualised in our flagship designs "Plain Tees".
Our goal with Plain Apparel was simple; we wanted to connect our love for simple designs with sustainable, high quality products.
As part of our Plain Conscious Initiative, our cotton/poly blends use ring-spun organic cotton, a higher quality, more sustainable version of regular cotton, removed of all pesticides and using a staggering 91% less water than regular cotton. We also only use recycled polyester in our pieces, limiting the carbon footprint of our garment production.
Furthermore, all of our garments are produced under Fair Wear conditions, meaning all of the workers producing said garments are subject to good working conditions and are paid a living wage. This is an understated aspect of sustainable streetwear but it is arguably the most important part of our supply chain as only 1% of garment workers are paid a living wage.
Plain Apparel currently holds our Plain Tees, Plain Jumpers, Plain Hoodies and Plain Accessories collections suitable for both men and women. We have HUGE plans to bring increased sustainability to our streetwear whilst also adding new designs as we grow; and we can't wait for you guys to see what we have planned next!
