Plain™ Decks are a pack of 55 poker-sized playing cards, including:

• 40 bespoke playing cards
• 14 originally designed face cards (including two Jokers)
• 1 information card

The Plain™ Decks are bespoke playing cards starring 14 uniquely designed black characters - The Plain™ Royals.

With each character being inspired by a mixture of pop-culture icons, historical figures and the family members of the Art Director, the face cards aim to show how eclectic the black experience is, with each suit representing a different aspect of black culture!

Delivery:

Our Plain™ Decks are sent through Royal Mail - 1st Class so they should arrive within 1-2 business days.

Sustainability:

We use FSC Certified Cardstock, meaning the production of Plain Decks does not contribute to any deforestation and all timber workers are paid a living wage.

Lastly and most importantly, although our artist was only 17 when we made our characters, she receives royalties for every pack of cards sold! This is an understated part of sustainability but supporting artists is something that is very important to us at The Plain Shop.
